Research

Research Interests
Research interest lies in advancing animal nutrition and feed technology to enhance livestock performance and sustainability. This encompasses investigating the nutritional needs of various livestock, including cattle, pigs, poultry, and palm weevil larvae, and developing and optimizing feed formulations using agro-industrial by-products to reduce costs and improve gut health and productivity. I am also focused on exploring the effects of feed processing conditions on the bioavailability of nutrients and anti-nutritional factors, utilizing advanced laboratory techniques to analyze feedstuff nutritional value and their impact on gut health and growth performance.

Current Research

Current research aims to assess the reproductive performance of sows in selected municipalities, identifying factors that influence sow fertility and productivity. Another research seeks to investigate the determinants that drive poultry farmers' preferences for commercially manufactured poultry feeds in the same municipalities, analyzing the factors that impact their feed choices and decision-making processes.
