Brief Profile

Ms. Priscilla Niamah Agyemang works as an assistant research scientist at the Animal Research Institute (ARI) of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). She is currently the Sectional Head of the Diary Unit in the institute's Commercialization Division. Her responsibilities as Head of the Dairy Unit include supervising the daily production of yoghurt, planning production schedules to meet demand and guarantee high profitability, managing and leading the dairy team by assigning tasks and ensuring efficient use of equipment and materials, and guaranteeing compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

At University of Education, Winneba, Ms. Priscilla Niamah Agyemang obtained her first degree in Agricultural Science Education. She then went on to pursue her second degree, which she completed, earning a Master of Philosophy in Food Science and Technology from CSIR College of Science and Technology (CCST). She is well-versed in her line of work thanks to her knowledge in these areas.

Her main responsibilities at CSIR-ARI are research, product marketing, and product development (dairy products). Because of her experience, the institute under her leadership saw a sharp rise in yoghurt production in 2022 and has been able to sustain this trend.

As an Assistant Secretary and the Secretary of the RSA's Seminar Committee, Ms. Priscilla Niamah Agyemang is a member of the Research Scientific Association (RSA). Marketing and product development are areas of interest for her.
