  • Evaluating the use of mixed pastures (legume/legume and grass/legume mixtures) for high performance grazing systems for sustainable productivity
  • Characterizing and use of condensed tannin containing forage species for efficient use of plant proteins by cattle
  • Reduction of methane gas emission from cattle production
  • Rejuvenation of old pastures
  • Performance of cattle grazing native (communal grazing lands) and tamed forage species


  • BRIEF PROFILE

    He holds a Ph.D (Biomolecular Science) from University of Lethbridge, AB. Canada with specialization in Ruminant Nutrition and Grazing Management. He is a Senior Research Scientist and the Head of New Product Development and Marketing Division of the CSIR-Animal Research Institute (CSIR-ARI). He is a part-time lecturer at the Animal Science Department of the University of Ghana, Legon and a Senior Lecturer at the CSIR College of Science and Technology.
